Great Steaks Waiting For You in Branson

There’s something about a good steak dinner. A prime cut of meat, seasoned and cooked to perfection, perhaps accompanied by a hot baked potato (or French fries, if you prefer) and fresh vegetables – yup, it’s pretty hard to beat.

Several Branson restaurants specialize in steak dinners, so you have plenty of opportunities – you might even say you owe it to yourself – to find the one that suits you best.

If you aren’t sure where to start, check out these five spots where steak dinners are prime menu choices:

  • Dobyn’s Dining Room – Try the Kansas City strip steak, served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and garden vegetables, at this restaurant in the KeeterCenter at the College of the Ozarks. The students at “Hard Work U” will ensure you have a memorable dining experience.
  • Outback Steak and Oyster Bar – Not to be confused with the national chain with a similar name, try to finish the top sirloin, which tips the scales at one pound – or you can try the half-pounder. Drinks, sides and a fun atmosphere make this one of Branson’s most popular restaurants.
  • Level II Steakhouse – Enjoy the filet mignon (six or nine ounces), the 14-ounce ribeye or the 16-ounce prime rib. A varied menu of side items includes a loaded baked potato, asparagus, carrots and spinach. Inside the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel.
  • Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse – Living up to the saying “everything’s bigger in Texas” the dinner menu at this restaurant includes a 20-ounce bone-in ribeye served with a salad and varying sides, ranging from creamed corn and broccoli to cheesy jalapeno grits. Located at Branson Landing.
  • Devil’s Pool Restaurant – The hardwood smoked prime rib comes in either 10-ounce or 16-ounce cuts and is served with a roasted green onion and garlic mashed potato and roasted carrots. The meal pairs well with the incredible ambiance of Big Cedar Lodge.
