Branson has so many wonderful things to offer its visitors and residents. One of my favorite parts about the area are our three beautiful lakes. They have something for everyone. Do you like jogging? It doesn’t get better than jogging along Lake Taneycomo at The Branson Landing or the trails at Table Rock State Park. Are you a fishing fan? Our lakes have some amazing fishing! Into water sports? We have you covered! We have everything from kayaking, parasailing, boating, jetskiing and even house boat rentals. I’m getting a group together to rent a houseboat and spend the weekend on the lake—how awesome is that going to be?!
There are way too many things for me to cover in a single blog post, but I’ll tell you about the fun I had last weekend while camping on Table Rock Lake. I like to try different campgrounds each time because we have some amazing campgrounds!
Last weekend we stayed at Aunt’s Creek Campground. It is managed by the Corps of Engineers. Their staff was amazing and very friendly—which is what I love about this area. Trust me, hospitality is not unique to Aunt’s Creek, it’s a staple around here. The campground was beautiful, the facilities were clean, and the campsites themselves were wonderful.
While they don’t have docks, they do have large boat ramps and ample parking for trailers and vehicles. Their playground overlooks the swimming area and beach.
We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect! Check out all of the pictures on the Branson Flickr Photostream.
