“I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air.” -Nathaniel Hawthorne
One thing I love about the Ozarks is our diverse seasons. In Branson, we have five: Hot Winter Fun, Spring, Summer, Fall and Christmas. Every year I try to do as much as I can each season, but I never get it all done. This year I am keeping my lists short and manageable.
Here’s what I hope to do this fall:
- Camp
- Jog along Table Rock Lake
- Pumpkin Patch
- Rent a jet ski (better do that soon!)
- Take fall family pictures
- Jog along Lake Taneycomo
- Ducks go Boo!
- National Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City
- See three shows: Jim Stafford, Six and Acrobats of China
My list doesn’t even scratch the surface of everything there is to do in Branson during the fall. If you need some ideas for your list, check out the Explore Branson website.
I’ll write a blog for each activity as I mark them off my list. I can’t wait to get started!
