Jogging along Lake Taneycomo at The Landing

Well, I’m not doing as well on my fall to do list as I had hoped. It’s not that I haven’t done anything… I just keep getting distracted!

I’ve been riding go carts at Track Family Fun Parks.

Riding The Ducks on Table Rock Lake. I got too excited about riding them and did it before they started Ducks Go Boo!

Quack!

I’ve had some yummy food at D’Monaco.

YUM!

I saw the ridiculously hilarious Paul Harris and The Cleverlys Show.

I skipped rocks on Table Rock Lake.

I just have one month left before Christmas starts here in Branson, so I need to quit getting distracted by all the fun things to do in town! I did do one thing on my list last week– I jogged along Lake Taneycomo at The Branson Landing.

North Beach Park

I usually start my jog at the park. The path I go on goes through the park, then I turn around and jog along the boardwalk that goes between The Landing and Lake Taneycomo.

Boardwalk behind the fountains

Not only is it great for jogging, it is perfect for a casual stroll. The sounds, smells, lake breeze and fountains make the ambiance amazing. Plus, there is great shopping, delicious food and lodging at The Landing.

I’ve had a busy week, but can only check one thing off my fall list:

  • Camp
  • Jog along Table Rock Lake
  • Pumpkin Patch
  • Rent a jet ski– I think I waited too long for this one! I may substitute it for a bike ride at Dogwood Canyon.
  • Take fall family pictures
  • Jog along Lake Taneycomo
  • Ducks go Boo!
  • National Harvest Festival at Silver Dollar City
  • See three shows: Jim Stafford, Six and Acrobats of China
