A Table Rock Lake Wedding: Preview

What’s better than a wonderful wedding? Doing it in a location that all your guests will love! I had a small, do-it-yourself, backyard wedding last weekend. Although my husband and I live here, all our family members are spread across five different states. We decided to have our wedding here in the Branson Lakes Area so our families would enjoy a vacation while celebrating with us. I’ll do a more detailed post about the wedding, what all our guests did while they were in town and suggestions on getting wed in the area. But for now, here is a sneak peak-

The backyard

A boat drove by and yelled some congratulations to us during the ceremony- it was hilarious!

Exchanging vows- look at that background!

We used a local photographer-- there are several talented ones in the area

Our guests enjoyed watching us goof around while taking pictures

The weather was perfect- we enjoyed an amazing sunset over the lake

Shout out to Pinterest- I found great inspiration for our attire and flowers

  1. Oh my gosh! Love! I’ve actually been playing with the idea of getting married at the lake someday…. I live in St. Louis, but Tablerock has always been my second home! Would love to be able to do it on a nice dock somewhere. And go out on a boat afterwards – sort of like the party buses people do for wedding parties/pictures!

Can’t wait to see more tips!
