Where in Branson is the new airport located? Are there any resturants or vendors there?

  2. Dustin Watkins says:

The Branson Airport is located about 8 miles south of downtown Branson. The first commercial flights will begin in May, and by then there will be plenty of restaurants and vendors. Enterprise is the exclusive rental car provider and Branson Gray Line is the exclusive provider of taxi, limousine, and shuttle ground transportation services for the new airport. Check out http://www.explorebranson.com/airport for some more information.

I entered a contest sponsered by the chamber of commerce that was having a drawing for a free couple days in Branson. The deadline or drawing was supposed to be held on 1/19/2009. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks for entering our contest. The 3 winners have been notified. Make sure you check http://www.explorebranson.com for more opportunities in 2009.

Will there be any transportation available to Mountain Home, AR on a regular basis from the airport (or is it under consideration)? There are many retirees there who will use the new airport to travel and they may not want to drive there from Mountain Home.

    Re: Mountain Home
There will be taxi and shuttle service at the airport, but we’re not aware of any regularly scheduled shuttles to Mountain Home. For more info, you might check out the airport Web site at http://www.flybranson.com/ or contact them at (417) 334 7813
