Made in the USA By Hand! Peter Engler was a famous woodcarver who began selling his carvings in 1962 . He believed that everyone should learn some type of craft and he strived to keep the art of woodcarving alive through generations. Peter passed away in 2012, but his legacy remains.

Mary Bowman, Peter's friend and business partner has kept his dream alive by promoting over 150 local artist.  Daily demonstrations of carving and pottery making.  Peter Engler Designs is a retail store featuring local gallery quality works of art.  Although woodcarving is the main feature, many other talents are available by local potter, silversmith and various types of woodworkers.Woodcarving tools and carving  supplies are also available. 

This store is full of life. It's Americana at it's finest.
