Fall for the Ozarks
The autumn landscape in the Branson area explodes in an array of rich colors beginning in mid-September and lasting through November.
Fall foliage driving tours are a favorite way to see the Ozarks painted with fall color. Also popular are plane, helicopter, train and boat tours. Branson celebrates its traditional American heritage in the fall with craft and music festivals, patriotic events and many outdoor sporting activities.
The Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau can help make planning your trip easier and more convenient. Give us a call at 1-800-296-0463 to speak with a friendly customer service representative.

(in association with LogHoggers Chainsaw Sculpting)
Professional wood carvers from across the nation will send chips flying and spirits soaring when they return to compete in this year’s three-day woodcarving competition. Events will take place in Titanic’s parking area: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. A special 75-minute chainsaw speed-carving contest delivers one of the event’s many nail-biting moments. This special annual family event honors the memory of the German passengers and crew who were aboard Titanic. It’s free and held in association with LogHoggers Chainsaw Sculpting. |

| Friday, Oct. 15 | 2nd Annual Masquerade Dinner Party and Ghostly Delights
Myth and mystery are on the menu as Titanic hosts its 2nd annual Halloween Masquerade – a progressive dinner party held aboard ship the night before All Hallows’ Eve. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, our crew will wear unique, wildly decorative Italian masks; we encourage our dinner guests to also arrive in masks. Haunting tales and unexplained phenomena will be served-up as appetizers during this moveable feast through the museum. Especially spooky is the much-repeated, still-believed story that Titanic was cursed by an Egyptian mummy on board. Another story claims there was a murderer aboard. Catered by Touch of Springfield, dinner is priced at $65.00 per person. Reservations required. |

Young ladies will reign and mothers will beam when they take their places at the year’s second seating of the Titanic Princess Tea Parties, Part II. Beautiful tables will be dressed all in pink and set in silver as newly crowned princesses prepare to meet their royal obligations. A one-hour, all-inclusive crash course in proper etiquette, manners and style will be followed by a tea-pouring ceremony and a personal tour of the Titanic Museum Attraction. |
