13th Annual Military Reunion Planners Conference FAM Tour

Dear Military Reunion Planner,

The Branson Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting our 13th Annual Military Reunion Planners Conference FAM Tour August 14-17, 2017. You are invited to come and join other volunteer military reunion planners from across the US to experience a destination like no other. Our conference is designed to educate Reunion Planners about our veteran-honoring, patriotic community as we showcase Branson and introduce you to many of the business friends who can make your job so much easier!

Tucked away in the beauty of the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, Branson truly is a “Welcome Home!” to all veterans and military groups, as you receive special recognition at live shows, lodging properties, restaurants, and shops all over town. Our enduring Ozark hospitality envelopes you, while our peaceful lakes and mountains surround you, beckoning you to linger just a little longer so please plan to add on a personal day or two at the end of your Conference stay!

Every year we hear folks say, “If only we had known how wonderful Branson is, we would have planned to stay another day or two!” There is so much to see and do, our FAM tours cannot begin to cover all the beautiful venues and attractions, so please plan to stay over if at all possible. Any cost associated with pre- or post- Conference stay will be your responsibility depending on any offers or discounts extended to you by any participating businesses on an individual basis.

An intrinsic part of our event is also your commitment to our scheduled business networking event with exciting Branson business professionals who are dedicated to nothing less than your success! Casual dress is appropriate for all activities. All delegates must be over 21 years of age.  Come see for yourself why Branson is the ideal location for your next military reunion trip!

2017 Military Reunion Planner FAM Tentative Itinerary
3 Nights / 4 Days

Monday – August 14th

  • 3:30 pm – Pick up Reunion Planners at Host Hotel
  • Welcome Reception
  • Dinner & Program
  • Evening Event

Tuesday – August 15th

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Morning Activity
  • Lunch
  • Hotel Site Inspections
  • Rest time at Hotel
  • Dinner/Evening Event

Wednesday – August 16th

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Hotel Site Inspections
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon Activity
  • Rest time at Hotel
  • Dinner/Evening Event

Thursday – August 17th

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Planners Networking Session
  • Lunch
  • 2:00 PM Official Conclusion of FAM.

*Preliminary itinerary is subject to change. Your finalized itinerary will be available upon arrival. 

2017 APPLICATION

Fill out the application form listed at the bottom. Do not book any scheduled air service until your application has been approved. Deadline to send application is Friday, July 14th, 2017.

FEE AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

Space is limited to two persons per reunion. All participants must be 21 years or older. Payment is due when the application is approved. A payment form for your check or credit card remittance will be sent with your confirmation.

ACCOMMODATIONS, TRANSPORTATION, DINING, AND ENTERTAINMENT

Your fee includes lodging, meals, entertainment and local transportation during the Conference, August 14-17, 2017. You are responsible for your own transportation getting to and from Branson, and you should not book air travel until your application is confirmed. Each participant is responsible for expenses related to items of a personal nature, miscellaneous expenses, and extended stays.

PLANNERS NETWORKING SESSION

Our Conference gives Planners the opportunity to meet Branson Group Sales Representatives face to face to discuss customized itineraries, hotel amenities, and get answers to your questions about Branson. As an important facet of your reconnaissance, this networking session is a requirement to participate in the full FAM.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Our business event schedule is filled with lots of activities and a fair amount of walking, including inclines and steps, therefore, a good health condition is recommended for everyone’s safety and maximum enjoyment.  A light jacket is also recommended for cool theaters and attractions.
