11th Annual Branson Music Director FAM Tour
Dear Music Director,
I’m excited to announce the Branson Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting our 11th Annual Music Director FAM Tour, June 27-30, 2017. You are invited to come and join other music directors from across the United States to experience, “The Fastest Growing Student Performance Destination in America.”
Tucked away in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, Branson is home to Live Shows, Outdoor Adventure and Family Fun. Your attendance to this FAM Tour will provide you first-hand knowledge of the many exciting events and activities awaiting your student performance groups for fun and education.
This event is complimentary and is designed to showcase Branson to music directors the many reasons why Branson should be your next student performance destination. During your time in Branson, FAM attendees will also meet with area group sales representatives to learn about planning the perfect student group trip. Space is limited so send your application ASAP!

2017 Music Director FAM Preliminary Itinerary
2017 Branson CVB FAM Policies and Procedures
Fill out the application form listed at the bottom. Do not book any scheduled air service until your application has been approved. Deadline is Friday, May 26, 2017. Remember, this is an application. So, completing and submitting the application does not guarantee your placement in the FAM.
The FAM participation is complimentary and is limited to two persons per organization/schools. The applicant and the applicant guest will be participating in all of the activities together scheduled on the FAM itinerary. All participants must be 21 years or older.
ACCOMMODATIONS, TRANSPORTATION, DINING, AND ENTERTAINMENT
All of your expenses are covered during the FAM, June 27-30, 2017, including lodging, food, entertainment and local transportation. You are responsible for the planning and expense of your transportation to and from Branson to attend the FAM. That includes airport transfers if you decide to fly to the area. Each participant is responsible for any and all expenses related to items of a personal nature and miscellaneous expenses.
SCHEDULED BUSINESS SESSION
This FAM includes a scheduled business meeting session on Friday, June 30, 2017, from 9:00 am to Noon. This portion of the FAM gives you the opportunity to meet with the Branson Group Sales Representatives one-on-one. You’ll discuss student friendly travel packages and itineraries that include performance opportunities. This session is required if your application is accepted to participate in the FAM.
This is a busy FAM Tour with lots of activities and a fair amount of walking required, including inclines and steps. A good health condition is recommended for everyone’s safety and maximum enjoyment. A light jacket is also recommended for cool theaters and attractions. Every effort is made to accommodate special dietary needs during the FAM but they are not guaranteed.
SOME EXCLUSIONS APPLY
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this FAM and the limited space – we respectively request you not submit an application if you attended this FAM between the years of 2012-2016 to allow space for more music directors who’ve never been to Branson or not visited in at last 5 years.
