I’m excited to announce the Branson Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting our 9th Annual Professional Travel Planner FAM Tour April 18 - 21, 2017. You are invited to come and join other Tour Operators and Travel Agents from across the United States and Canada to experience, first-hand, a destination like no other.
Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, Branson, Missouri, is one of the premier vacation destinations in the central United States. With lots of live entertainment, three pristine lakes, championship golf, and miles of hiking and biking trails, Branson’s wide variety of things to do offers something for all ages. Our one-of-a-kind travel destination also includes dozens of attractions and museums, a full range of dining options, and a host of lodging properties available to your clients.

2017 Professional Travel Planner FAM Policies and Procedures
2017 Professional Travel Planner FAM
Fill out the application form listed at the bottom. Do not book any scheduled air service until your application has been approved. Deadline is Tuesday, March 23, 2017. Remember, this is an application. So,completing and submitting the application does not guarantee your placement in the FAM.
FEE AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
The FAM participation fee is only $150 per person ($300 for two people) and is limited to two persons per company. The applicant and the applicant guest will be participating in all of the activities together scheduled on the FAM itinerary. All participants must be 21 years or older. Payment is due when the application is approved and must be paid by credit card. A credit card payment form will be sent with your confirmation.
ACCOMMODATIONS, TRANSPORTATION, DINING, AND ENTERTAINMENT
Your fee covers all of your expenses during the FAM, April 18– 21, 2017, including lodging, food, entertainment, and local transportation. You are responsible for the planning and expense of your transportation to and from Branson to attend the FAM. That includes airport transfers if you decide to fly to the area. Each participant is responsible for any and all expenses related to items of a personal nature and miscellaneous expenses.
SCHEDULED BUSINESS SESSION
This FAM includes scheduled business meeting session on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 9:00 am to Noon. This portion of the FAM gives you the opportunity to meet with the Branson Group Sales Representatives one-on-one to discuss customized group and individual travel packages and itineraries. This session is required if your application is accepted to participate in the FAM.
This is a busy FAM Tour with lots of activities and a fair amount of walking required, including inclines and steps. A good health condition is recommended for everyone’s safety and maximum enjoyment. A light jacket is also recommended for cool theaters and attractions. Every effort is made to accommodate special dietary needs during the FAM but they are not guaranteed.
SOME EXCLUSIONS APPLY
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this FAM and the limited space – we respectively request you not submit an application if you attended this FAM between the years of 2012-2016 to allow space for more professional travel planners who’ve never been to Branson or not visited in at last 5 years.
