Lt. Colonel Oliver North in Branson Nov. 9-11 for Veterans Week

■ Sunday, Nov. 9, 5:00-8:00 p.m., signing American Heroes at Silver Dollar City

■ Monday, Nov. 10, 10:00 a.m. until noon, Col. North will host a book signing near the fountains at Branson Landing and, later that evening, he will be the keynote speaker at the Marine Corps birthday gala at Chateau on the Lake.

■ Tuesday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day, 8:00 a.m.breakfast with Col. North, Branson Convention Center; open to the public (tickets are $15 and available around town and at the convention center) and followed by a book signing. Col. North will be honored at the Tony Orlando Veterans show at the Welk Resort Theatre at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, followed by a book signing in the theatre lobby.

Col. North has devoted more than forty years of his life to the United States military. He was a member of the National Security Council staff and served as the U.S. government’s counter-terrorism coordinator from 1983-1986 under President Ronald Reagan.
