Titanic Museum Attraction Introduces Look-a-Like “Jack Dawson”
“As a featured cast member, Jack will appear in costume on the Grand Staircase and at various times he’ll be in the James Cameron’s Titanic movie gallery where we pay tribute to the Oscar winning movie. We think a dash of Hollywood make-believe will add a surprising and exciting new dimension to the Titanic experience, especially for our young guests,” said Joslyn.
It was a stroke of good luck that brought young Frank Roberts, 19, of Smithville, Missouri, to the attention of the Titanic owners. He and his parents had taken the Titanic tour during a Branson vacation and Mrs. Roberts was struck by her son’s remarkable resemblance to Leonardo de Caprio. She suggested he call to see if he might work at the museum -- the rest is, as they say, history. When asked what he thought about his new job at Titanic he said that he felt it was a blessing to have the opportunity to work there. Prior to his debut at the museum attraction, Frank, a recent graduate from SmithvilleHigh School in Smithville, MO had been working at Beshears Tree and Lawn Company.
