Moonlight Madness Presents Big Thrills in the Night

Families can play all day and into the night during Silver Dollar City’s Moonlight Madness, with extended night hours to ride, play and dance under the stars. Special shows are featured and over 30 rides and attractions will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Silver Dollar City provides more than 12 hours a day to play during Moonlight Madness, or guests can come after 5 p.m. for just $25.

Niagara Falls Daredevil Nik Wallenda will perform through August 4 with The Fabulous Wallendas! Famous Family Circus for high-wire excitement. For night-ride thrills, guests can catch a panoramic view of the sunset on the multi-looping coaster WildFire, soar through the stars on the launch coaster PowderKeg, cool off with a splash down the falls on the American Plunge, and roar into the night on the runaway mine train Thunderation.
Kids can meet a variety of cartoon characters including Scooby Doo & Shaggy, Yogi Bear & Boo Boo, and Dora & Diego, Thursdays through Saturdays during Moonlight Madness.
The park’s country music show, GAC Nights in Echo Hollow, presents toe-tappin’ entertainment. Free to Silver Dollar City guests, the show begins at 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays through Mondays in the park’s 4,000 seat amphitheater.

Topping off the day’s fun is Silver Dollar City’s Street Dance, beginning at 9 p.m. each evening during Moonlight Madness. Families can join the party on the square for fun dances such as the Electric Slide, the Chicken Dance, the Cotton-Eyed Joe and the Macarena.

Select shops and eateries will remain open until 10 p.m. and food and merchandise specials will be available. Throughout Moonlight Madness, Silver Dollar City will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can ride all day and into the night with a one-day ticket or season pass, or come after 5 p.m. for only $25.
