Area Residents Can Touch Branson’s Future Today

During the month of August, Branson area residents are encouraged to submit all Time Capsule items and artifacts, desired to be encapsulated in the Branson Centennial Time Capsule, to be opened at the Sesquicentennial Celebration for Branson in 2062.

Time Capsule items can be dropped off now at the Branson Centennial Museum, at the corner of Business 65 and Hwy 76 in Downtown Branson, during museum business hours:  Monday – Saturday, 10-4; Sunday 1-4.

Citizens can also contact their community sector’s Time Capsule Representative to gather items or to obtain a list of already submitted items.  The community sector representative list can be found on the Branson Centennial website at: www.branson100.org.

All items will be considered and processed according to the Branson 100 Time Capsule Guidelines, listed online, and will become the property of the Branson Centennial Museum or the Branson Centennial Time Capsule Project.

The Branson Centennial Time Capsule Committee is planning to display final items in various locations throughout the Branson community this fall and will close out this Centennial year with a community-wide Branson 100 Time Capsule Encapsulation Ceremony on December 2.

For more information, please go to: www.branson100.org.  Or contact Jory Rolf: 417-598-1314 or jory@ozarkmountainlegacy.org.  All Branson Centennial Time Capsule items for consideration should be submitted to the Branson 100 Museum by September 4, 2012.
