Welk Resort Theatre Presents "THE PRICE IS RIGHT LIVE!" With host David Ruprecht

 

(Branson, Missouri) – The Welk Resort Branson is excited to announce the new celebrity host of “The Price Is Right Live!”. Starting August 13, 2012, Monday through Saturday at 8pm, David Ruprecht will host the live stage show version of the popular television show, complete with audience interaction!

 

As host of TV’s “Supermarket Sweep” for more than a decade, David Ruprecht, is a familiar face who is instantly recognized and warmly received wherever he goes. He’s been seen in the more than 50 sitcoms and dramas in which he has guest starred, including “Cold Case,” “Joan of Arcadia,” “Days of Our Lives” and “Three’s Company.” He has also been one of the many hosts of The Price Is Right Live in Las Vegas throughout its six year run at Bally’s.

 

The Price Is Right, Live! follows virtually the same format as the TV show: anyone can register to participate as a contestant and may be called to, “Come on down!’. The contestant who wins the initial one-bid is then given a chance to win more prizes by playing one of the iconic and popular games such as Plinko, Cliffhangers, Punch-A-Bunch, and The Big Wheel to name just a few. And of course, two lucky contestants will get a chance to compete in the Showcase. Also,  in the live stage show version, more than 40 audience members will receive prizes.

 

David Ruprecht brings a professional style and charm that will make The Price Is Right Live! one of the most popular and talked about shows in Branson.

The Price Is Right, Live! schedule covers July through December 2012.
