THANK YOU for helping Joplin!

We've known for a long time that Branson has truly amazing and wonderful fans, and your generous spirit was on display again this weekend as so many people came forward to support the Branson Cares Joplin Benefit Concert and Telethon on Sunday, June 26.

The League of Branson Theatre Owners & Show Producers coordinated the three-hour, nationally televised event, which featured live music and performances from more than 30 Branson artists.

To date, your donations and support have helped raise more than $220,000 for our neighbors in Joplin, and a number of band and orchestra instruments have been donated as well. These will be used to help rebuild St. John's Mercy Hospital in Joplin, and also to help rebuild the music programs at Joplin schools.

In addition to the telethon and auction, two new songs have been written and recorded by Branson artists: "Joplin," recorded by Doug Gabriel and "Just Hold On," recorded by Trey Wilson, Jason Robinson and Michael W. Davis. These songs will continue to be available for sale, and proceeds will go to help Joplin rebuild.

For updates and more info about how you can download the songs and also continue to help Joplin, visit www.JoplinBenefit.com

Branson Celebrates America's Independence

Branson is red, white and blue every day, but our nation's Independence Day takes on special importance, and several of the region's longest-running patriotic celebrations can be found here.

July 4th weekend is packed with activities for your family, including a number of picnics, sales, concerts and fireworks displays.

The weekend's concerts and fireworks start up on Saturday night with Kimberling City's annual Fireburst celebration, which follows a special concert at the Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater of 38 Special and The Kentucky Headhunters.

Come On In! The Water's Fine!

Find out more about one of the Branson/Lakes Area's main attractions, Table Rock Lake, in this new video.

Like many areas in the central United States, the Ozarks experienced heavy rainfall this Spring. Lake levels continue to be higher than normal, but it's still a great time to get out and experience the area's three amazing lakes!

Table Rock Lake has a surface area of more than 43,000 acres, and it winds through some of the most beautiful areas in the Ozark Mountains. The lake's pristine waters are perfect for recreational boating, jet-skiing, parasailing, kayaking ... and of course world-class fishing! And because of the lake's size, it's easy to find a quiet cove or out-of-the-way spot for swimming or fishing.
