Titanic Museum Attraction
 It has been 100 years since a lookout in the crow’s nest shouted, “Iceberg right ahead!” On April 15, it will have been a century since the RMS Titanic was lost. Throughout 2012, Titanic Museum Attraction will pay respect to and honor the 2,208 passengers and crew members with an ongoing series of special events, activities and ceremonies.
 Joseph
An original production from Sight & Sound Theatres, comes to Branson April 2012. This epic, timeless story about the power of forgiveness will delight audiences of all ages as they experience the larger-than-life productions. Audiences will leave this show energized by the character of Joseph, renewed in their faith, and inspired to dream big for God’s glory!
Brady Brunch
Barry Williams played Greg Brady the oldest of six on the iconic show from the ’70s. From 1969 to 1974, Williams played the nation’s most recognizable big brother. His love for music is a big part of his new show, “Brady Brunch” at Yakov’s Theatre a family-friendly cabaret, full of music, stories, laughter and up-close interaction (sans alcohol). While brunch is served, Williams joins the audience for a meal and conversation.

 See The World In Branson, the annual month long Ozark Mountain Spring event, highlights the vast amount of internationally inspired entertainment, attractions, and cuisine available to visitors in the Branson area. It allows visitors the opportunity to enjoy multiple cultural and experiences in entertainment and other traditions without actually having to travel abroad.

.jpg) New Dewey Short Visitor’s Center to Open in Spring
April 2012, a new Dewey Short Visitor Center near Table Rock Dam, off Missouri State Highway 165, will open. A 15,000-square-foot visitor center will feature an auditorium, gift shop and educational area for exhibits and conference rooms. The lake itself will also become part of the new exhibit experience.
Baldknobbers Donate Artifacts to Smithsonian
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History received a collection from the Mabe family that included a washtub bass, banjo, Dobro guitar, washboard and a mule’s jawbone that provided rhythm. The articles document the long and rich history of the variety jamboree show and its place in American entertainment culture.

Titanic's Rose Petal Memorial Tribute
Often, guests have asked if they could somehow honor the passengers and crew. For the first time ever, when you visit each ship now and throughout the entire year leading up to April 2012, guests will be given an actual rose petal and that rose petal will be placed into a memorial case - which will then go out to sea on April 10, 2012. All of the rose petals will be placed out to sea by the Coast Guard at the exact site where we lost Titanic 100 years ago.

Our mission is to honor each of the passengers and crew who sailed Titanic by telling their stories and passing along this important part of history to you and your family. Titanic Christmas and Winter Celebration
Inside and out, Titanic is magical during the winter holidays. The sights, sounds and joy of the season are sure to hail the arrival of Christmas 2011. Titanic will join the Branson community November 1 to kick off the 22nd Ozark Mountain Christmas with the official lighting ceremonies. You’re invited to stop by November thru December for Titanic’s holiday spirit. The ship will be aglow. Come exchange greetings with the jolly Titanic crew or enjoy the glittering lights, the festive decorations, and meet Santa and two of his special reindeer. The Titanic Gift Shop will be open every day, including free public access to hundreds of unique Titanic Christmas gift ideas and collectibles.

This drive-through light festival is designed to delight children of all ages. Your journey begins with a one-mile drive along a path illuminated with more than 175 displays. The path is located off Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Roark Valley Road, this one-of-a-kind family experience promises to be spectacular.

With a Heritage of Holiday Magic, The Trail of Lights is a drive-thru animation display that will carry you into the very heart of Christmas. The Trail winds its way through the historic 160-acre homestead, and will take you down the famous "Trail that Nobody Knows How Old" into a holiday wonderland.
You'll travel through a variety of different lands, each with their own theme, from fantasy to religious to patriotic. Life-size (and some larger than life) three-dimensional characters have their own housing so you can "peek" in on the fun happening inside. Festive holiday music is themed to each scene, and visitors are sure to find themselves singing along.
The Trail also includes millions of multi-colored Christmas lights. Every building on park is completely illuminated, and there are hundreds of lighted displays as well as the animated scenes.
As the grand finale to the journey, visitors are invited to stop by Inspiration Tower where they can ride glass elevators up 230’ for a Santa’s eye view of the lights from above.

Santa and Two Live Reindeer
Santa Claus is coming to town again with two of his trusty reindeer. They’ll be here to help Titanic celebrate the holiday season, marking the third year real-live reindeer will prance back to the museum attraction to the delight of kids and their parents. For three consecutive weekends starting Friday, November 25th, these regal creatures will be tethered out front by Titanic’s iceberg, ready to greet visitors, welcome gentle petting and pose for photos with little girls and boys. You’ll find special holiday gifts inside the Titanic Gift Shop.
19th Annual Hollister Santa Train

The Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Hollister and Branson Scenic Railway are hosting the 19th Annual Santa Train at the historic train depot in Downtown Hollister.
Come early to watch Santa’s arrival from the North Pole. Santa’s train will arrive at the Hollister Train Depot at 2:00pm. Once he arrives, children are invited to climb aboard to visit with Santa and tell him their Christmas wishes.
This long-standing Hollister tradition is a free community event. Get up close and personal with a squad car, fire truck or ambulance—as local emergency services will be on-hand to share with children. Snacks and goodie bags will be provided to every child, as well as fun activities for all — including inflatables, face-painting and more!

The Fun Begins at 9:00pm
At 9:00pm the curtain opens on an expanded version of the Hamner Barber Variety Show starring illusionists The Hamners and their beautiful tropical parrots that magically appear and fly over the heads of our astonished guests. Co-Star ventriloquist Jim Barber and his wacky cast of characters will have you laughing so hard you'll bust your burrito! There will be lots of new surprises that you won't see in the regular season show, so don't blink or you'll miss something incredible! In addition to the amazing production show, we will have fun contests with fabulous prizes, festive party favors, and of course, lots of fantastic food and drinks for all. Since we are encouraging families with children to also attend this event, the wide-variety of delicious delicacies from Qdoba Mexican Grill are easy to hold and enjoy, and of course, all our drinks are alcohol free just in case "Junior" decides to drive home himself.
Laser Light Show Countdown to Midnight!
The magic, comedy, music, fun and games will continue all the way up to our amazing laser light show and multimedia countdown to 2012 and the beginning of a brand new year of fun here at the Hamner Barber Theater! This event will be the highlight of our eighth season in Branson and we invite you, your friends, and entire family to celebrate with our terrific cast, crew, staff, and of course... our own families as well!
Hint For Families: As many of our own staff and crew are parents, we understand how tough it can be to keep the little one's awake late at night. We recommend encouraging your kids to take a nap the afternoon of the event (good luck with that)... otherwise, in addition to our Qdoba Mexican Dinner, we'll have plenty of candy, popcorn and soda at the refreshment stand to keep them going 'till midnight. Come hungry – we will have an all you can eat pizza and dessert buffet. We will take a wagon tour, make crafts, play games, eat popcorn, watch movies, and bring in the new year while watching the amazing fireworks that Big Cedar has to offer. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and have a fantastic time celebrating the New Year! Tell your parents to go out and celebrate the New Year or dine at one of Big Cedar’s restaurants while you have your OWN night out with other Little Cedar friends.

Masters Trout Championship, Saturday January 21, 2012, is an annual public fishing tournament that Lilleys' Landing Resort and Marina on Lake Taneycomo. This cold water lake offers great rainbow and brown trout fishing. The rules of the tournament require artificial baits only and it is catch-and-release tournament as well. The entry fee is $50 for each two-person team. Cash prices and trophies will be award to the top four teams. The teams with the heaviest brown and rainbow trout are awarded Big Trout Cash Prizes.
