Branson Celebrates America's Independence in 2012
Branson is red, white and blue every day, but our nation's Independence Day takes on special importance, and several of the region's longest-running patriotic celebrations can be found here.
In fact, there's so many celebrations here, it takes us two weeks!
The celebrations begin Sunday, June 24, with College of the Ozarks' annual Honor America Celebration, which includes a fireworks show after dusk.
A week later, Kimberling City and the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 25th Anniversary Fireburst. This free festival on Saturday, June 30th, includes activities, food, music and -- of course fireworks!
The week of July 4th is packed with activities for your family, including a number of picnics, sales, concerts and fireworks displays.
The patriotic fun continues Tuesday, July 3, with a free concert at Branson Landing from Chain Reaction - A Tribute to Journey, followed by the 5th Annual Liberty Light Up Fireworks Show.
And on Wednesday, July 4, Branson's celebration of America and independence continues with a day of events and more fireworks Wednesday night. See the Independence Day calendar of events below for all the details!
