The beautiful Mansion Theatre and Entertainment Center sits atop the highest hill in the nation’s live entertainment capitol – Branson Missouri! The Mansion is a 3,000 seat state-of-the-art entertainment venue with the best that sound and lighting technical advancements have to offer. The theatre was originally built in 1992 (with construction beginning in 1991) for performer Wayne Newton. The theatre was called The Shenandoah South Theatre. Through the years, superstars Kenny Loggins, Bill Cosby, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis have graced the stage. On November 12th and 13th, 2010, The Mansion Theatre welcomes back Johnny Mathis for two special Christmas shows along with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Tim Conway, Michael Bolton, Vicki Lawrence will also perform limited engagements.
The majestic bronze horses in the front of theatre were designed and built by Veryl Goodnight – they were brought in and put in place by a large crane and are currently valued at over a half a million dollars.
The large lobby is spacious with a soaring ceiling, magnificent staircase, and beautiful ambiance. In the lobby is a fully equipped refreshment center and coffee shop…and, off the lobby is a beautifully appointed gift shop.
