1) Spend the Evening at An Old Time Christmas® at Silver Dollar City

Silver Dollar City is a child’s delight during the Christmas season. Visit Santa’s workshop at Santa Claus Lane, meet and greet some of your favorite holiday characters at Rudolph’s Christmas Town, and watch Rudolph’s Holly Jolly™ Christmas Light Parade . . . and you’ll just be getting started! Be mesmerized by the 6.5 million twinkling lights throughout the park, and ride the Frisco Sing-Along Steam Train for a musical journey that ends with the real story of Christmas. Finish the evening by watching the light and music show on the 5-story Christmas tree on Main Street.

2) Ride the Polar Express at Branson Scenic Railway

The Branson Scenic Railway transforms into The Polar Express™ during the holiday season. Feel free to wear your pajamas and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while waiting on a visit from Santa! This magical experience will create truly unique memories for your family this Christmas. Do you BELIEVE?

3) Attend the Adoration Parade

The 70th Annual Adoration Parade will take place on Sunday, December 2 at 5:30 pm in Historic Downtown Branson. Your kids will love seeing festive floats (some even throw out candy!), lively marching bands, and displays of good ole’ holiday cheer. Be sure to get there in time to see the lighting of the Nativity that sits on the bluff of Lake Taneycomo overlooking downtown—a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

4) Explore the Winter Wonderland at Still Waters Resort

Located close to Silver Dollar City on Indian Point, Still Waters Resort’s Winter Wonderland is a great place to spend an afternoon. Enjoy a Christmas-themed inflatable adventure park, crafts, family pictures with Santa, and tasty holiday treats.

5) Eat Breakfast with Santa

Board the Showboat Branson Belle for Santa’s Pancakes & PJs Cruise where kids are encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas PJs! Enjoy a variety of holiday-themed activities, a yummy breakfast and a festive stage show that is sure to get you excited about the season!

Or make plans to attend the 21st Annual “Breakfast with Santa” at Chateau on the Lake on Saturday, December 22 from 9-11 am, which benefits Convoy of Hope. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, plenty of activities and games and a gift from Santa!

And finally, head over to Shepherd of the Hills for Santa and Pancakes! Feast on pancakes followed by a lively show where Santa is the star! Your ticket also includes same-day admission to the North Pole Adventure, a new walk-through experience with fun for everyone!

6) Follow America’s Christmas Tree City Trail

Go on a “scavenger hunt” for the most festive Christmas trees in Branson, America’s Christmas Tree City! Over 80 businesses have displayed hundreds of Christmas trees on their properties in and around Branson. Some are traditional, and some are truly unique, but all are sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Take lots of selfies!

7) Marvel at the Lights

Branson is home to incredible light displays that are often coupled with other family-friendly holiday activities. Whether you want to see Christmas lights by car or on foot, Branson will deliver some of the most dazzling holiday lights you’ve ever experienced!

You’ll also want to check out the Electrify: A Music and Light Spectacular! Christmas shows on the Branson Ferris Wheel, at 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 nightly.

8) Watch a Christmas Show

Branson has a wonderful selection of live shows that run during the Christmas season. One that is sure to entertain your kids this Christmas is Dolly Parton’s Stampede! This dinner attraction features thirty-two horses and other animals and an engaging competition between the North and South Poles. You and your kids will leave full and happy!
