Fun On and Off the Water Awaits at Main Street Marina

With sightseeing cruises, water equipment rentals, dining options, unique attractions and more, Main Street Marina has plenty of adventures in store for your next Branson visit.

Located in historic downtown Branson at the end of the Branson Landing, Main Street Marina offers a variety of ways to explore Lake Taneycomo and unwind with lakeside activities.

WATERCRAFT RENTALS

There’s no better way to explore one of the top trout-fishing destinations in Missouri than setting sail on one of several watercraft rentals offered by Main Street Marina.

For a twist on traditional boating, hop on board one of Main Street Marina’s CraigCats. These catamaran boats give a new meaning to recreational boating. With side-by-side seating, dual-action controls and a max speed of 30 miles per hour, the CraigCat is an excellent option for cruising, fishing and relaxing on Lake Taneycomo. You can even set out on a guided eco-tour on the power vessels and learn about pivotal landmarks on Lake Taneycomo along the way. Eco-tours are only available at select times, so be sure to reserve them in advance by calling the Main Street Marina box office.

If you want a little more movement along your journey downstream, consider renting a HydroBike. As a human-powered watercraft, the HydroBike can easily glide along stream at five miles per hour and is lightweight, safe and stable. If you’re concerned you have a lack of balance, don’t worry! The HydroBike is practically impossible to tip and can support 400 pounds with flotation.

Get a feel for catching waves right on the lake with a stand-up-paddle board (SUP). The SUP boards resemble oversized surf boards, but most riders use them on lakes and rivers. Lake Taneycomo is the ultimate location for learning how to use these unique boards. You can also get in a workout while using a SUP board. The watercraft has become a popular cross-training activity and exercises the entire body. What a perfect and healthy reason to get out on the water!

If you’re into more of a mainstream (no pun intended) way of travel, Main Street Marina has you covered. Kayaking is a popular watersport for all ages. Most kayaks have cockpit-style seating, but Main Street Marina houses sit-on-top kayaks, which allow kayakers to ride exactly how the watercraft sounds – on top of the boat. Take a friend, or head out on the water by yourself. These kayaks are also available for fishing purposes.

SIGHTSEEING AND DINNER CRUISES

Choose from one of Main Street Marina's two Main Street Lake Cruises, including the luxury Landing Princess yacht and the grand, modern paddleboat, the Branson Lake Queen.

The Landing Princess features a one-and-a-half-hour dinner cruise, complete with a stocked cash bar and elegantly decorated dining and reception areas.

When boarding the Lake Queen, you'll feel like you're stepping back in time on the replica of a historical riverboat. Also a one-and-a-half-hour afternoon cruise, this tour is guided by a captain knowledgeable of the area's history and points of interest.

Tickets for both cruises are required to be purchased in advance, so be sure to call the Main Street Marina box office to make reservations.

DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT

The Paddlewheel is Main Street Marina's lakeside restaurant serving up signature dishes such as Baja fish tacos, hand-breaded chicken strips, baked mac-and-cheese and more. The Paddlewheel also serves sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, select alcoholic beverages and more. Visitors can sit on the restaurant's patio and enjoy live musical performances held weekly during The Paddlewheel's "Rock the Dock" sessions. Events and hours may vary, so be sure to check The Paddlewheel's online schedule for announcements.

LANDING AXES

Main Street Marina is home to a new Branson Landing attraction, Landing Axes. Visitors can enter friendly competitions to practice their axe-throwing skills (in caged lanes) or play a game of steel-tip darts. Groups up to five or more players are allowed. Landing Axes is a member of the World Axe Throwing League (WATL) and provides WATL-approved axes for all players. Close-toed shoes are required to play, so come prepared!
