What to Expect at Silver Dollar City this Year

We believe the best adventures are worth the wait - and luckily, the wait is over to experience Silver Dollar City’s 60th season!

Silver Dollar City began welcoming guests back to the park in June after implementing many operational changes and extensive health measures. Here are some of the safety protocols, operational changes and new adventures you can expect when visiting Silver Dollar City in 2020.

Safety Measures & Hours of Operation

Expect numerous operational changes and added health and safety measures for employees and guests as Silver Dollar City celebrates its 60th season.

Pass holders and general admission guests will be required to reserve the date they wish to visit in advance, as to not exceed the park’s new capacity limit and keep visitors and employees safe.

Check out Silver Dollar City's monthly calendar, upcoming festivals and daily schedules to learn more about hours of operation and other operational updates.

Each Silver Dollar City employee and guest is expected to follow the six main guidelines below:

  • Daily capacity will be limited – Season Passholder Reservations are required and date-based tickets will be available for general admission.

  • Face masks or face coverings are required for all visitors ages 3 and up.

  • Temperature screenings will be taken prior to entry.

  • Attraction and dining capacities will be limited to allow guests to have more space to move around during their visit.

  • Physical distancing measures have been put in place including physically distanced queues, marked barriers and social distancing reminders.

  • Additional sanitation measures have been implemented. This includes high touch point areas being cleaned more frequently and providing additional hand sanitizing locations.

New 2020 Additions to Silver Dollar City

Debuting this year simultaneously with The City is the all-new Rivertown Smokehouse and the greatly improved Cinnamon Bread Bakery. At Rivertown Smokehouse enjoy mouthwatering barbecue paired with the classic fixins’. Once located in Midtown, the beloved Cinnamon Bread Bakery finds its new home in Rivertown. Choose between cinnamon bread flavors like apple, peach, original or Time Traveler.

Silver Dollar City’s 60th Jubilee Year brings brand new adventures! Later this summer, experience Mystic River Falls, the tallest raft ride drop in the Western Hemisphere. Float a nearly half mile trek that ascends an eight-story lift tower then plummets down a four and a half story waterfall - it’s the wettest splashdown in Silver Dollar City’s 60 year history.

Similar to Silver Dollar City, all other Branson businesses, shows and attractions have adopted new health and safety protocols. Learn more here.
