April is Awesome in Branson

Warmer temperatures bring new life to the flora and fauna of the Ozarks and give an early start to the summer travel season with a bevy of events and activities the whole family will enjoy.

From festivals designed to ignite your inner sense of wonder and one of the biggest Elvis-inspired events this side of Memphis to a golf tournament featuring some of the sport’s greatest players, you don’t have to look far to find fun in Branson this April.

Here’s a look at some of the can’t-miss events running from April 1 – 30, 2019:


Every Tuesday in the month of April from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Branson Farmers Market will be conveniently located in the Branson Landing’s parking lot near Belk. A variety of locally-grown produce, handmade products, balloon artist, henna tattoo artist and music will the featured during this farmers market.


Every Wednesday from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m., The Paddlewheel near the Branson Landing has an event to showcase your talent. Bring an instrument and your favorite songs to performer at Rock the Dock with Open Mic Night. Not a musician? Come enjoy local singers, songwriters, musicians and performers as they come together to collaborate.


Passengers of the Titanic Museum Attraction can experience first-hand what it was like to be aboard the world’s most famous luxury liner on that fateful day. Every Saturday in April at 8 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to experience the Titanic like never before. With only a flashlight in hand, the Titanic crew members will guide the way during a Flashlight Tour. Come shed light on a maze of Titanic myths, mysteries, legends and facts!

Another special feature currently at Titanic Museum Attraction, the World Exclusive – RMS Titanic Lifejackets will be on display at the museum through June 15, 2019. As the largest assembly of remaining RMS Titanic Lifejackets, experience the first and only time six out of the twelve known priceless artifacts are exhibited in Branson, MO. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime event!


This faith-based, family-friendly festival will be held at the White House Theater April 4 – 7. Designed to educate, equip and empower Christian filmmakers, this festival is visitors and locals alike.


At the 1880s theme park, a three-day youth conference is coming to Silver Dollar City this spring. Young Christians' Weekend, April 5 – 7, will highlight concerts, speakers and worship services. Along with the park’s 40 thrillers and attractions, this the perfect weekend to experience every aspect of Silver Dollar City.

On select days during April 10 – 28, Festival of Wonder at Silver Dollar City will leave you awed with performances by Albert Lucas, CirqUnique, I-Harp Extreme and X-Pogo. For more information on show descriptions and food offerings, click here.


Elvis is in the building during the 13th Annual Branson Elvis Festival on April 11 - 14. Located at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theatre, this event honors the King of Rock N Roll. Sunday is the Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest™, the highlight of the festival. Other activities, such as Elvis Vendor Village and Youth Tribute Artist Showcase, are also a part of the festivities.


The 40th Annual Branson Collector Car Auction is April 12 – 13. Located at the Branson Convention Center, this event will showcase over 100 various cars. From Audi and Cadillac to Jaguar and Rolls Royce, there is a wide range of models up for bid.


With tournament play running April 22 – 28, this the perfect time to enjoy the Ozark weather and scenery. Legendary golfers from around the world have made this annual event one of the largest experiences on the PGA Champions Tour. Played at Buffalo Ridge Springs, Top of the Rock, and Mountain Top Course designed by Gary Player, this tournament highlights some of Branson’s world-class golf courses. Are you looking for a way to get up and moving while meeting new people? If so, the Barn Dance on April 19 at Sycamore Creek is a can’t miss event! With Texas two-step, swing dance, line dancing and more, this dance is one that will keep you movin’ and groovin’. Don’t know the steps? That’s okay! Throughout the evening, dance instruction is provided for people that are newer to the dance floor. Hungry after all that dancing? BBQ sandwiches, chips, s'mores kits and non-alcoholic drinks are available to purchase! When you need a break from dancing, you can play lawn games or explore the beautiful venue. This family-friendly event is great for people of all ages!

On April 26 – 27, check out two fun-filled days of crafts and music during this rollicking event at Welk Resort in Branson. Highlighting the Ozark Mountain Springtime in Branson, this special music festival is jam packed with all of the music and talent that makes Branson so magical. Look out for Oak Ridge Boys, Clay Cooper, The Haygoods, Mickey Gilley, Johnny Lee, and Million Dollar Quartet to name a few. With excellent food offerings and vendor booths, this is fun for the whole family!
