April Events in Branson

As warmer temperatures arrive in the Ozarks, so does an early start to the summer travel season. Filled with events and activities the whole family will enjoy, April is the perfect month for a getaway in Branson.

From festivals designed to ignite your inner sense of wonder to one of the biggest Elvis-inspired events this side of Memphis, you don’t have to look far to find fun in Branson this April. 

World Exclusive Display of Titanic Violin at the Titanic Museum Attraction

Experience the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson like never before with an exclusive display of Titanic bandleader Wallace Hartley's violin. Sold at $1.7 million, the violin is the highest-priced artifact to sell from the ship's fateful voyage and has only been seen in public at the Titanic Museum Attractions in both Branson and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The display will run through the entire month of April through June 15. This is a once-in-a-lifetime exhibit you won't want to miss seeing. 

Branson Elvis Festival

Elvis is in the building during the 14th Annual Branson Elvis Festival on April 1-5. Held at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater, this event honors the King of Rock & Roll. Saturday, April 4, marks the Ultimate Elvis® Tribute Artist Contest™, a highlight of the festival. Other activities, including an Elvis Vendor Village and Youth Tribute Artist Showcase, are also a part of the event's festivities.

Kevin Van Dam Big Bass Classic 

Fishing fans will gather at Table Rock Lake April 3-5 for the Kevin Van Dam (KVD) Big Bass Classic presented by the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau. The classic will feature $135,000 in guaranteed prizes and payouts. One, two and three day entry fees are available online and onsite. More registration information can be found here

Women of Joy Conference

Since 1994, the Women of Joy Conference has brought crowds of 1,000 to 14,000 women together for weekend gatherings focused on growth in faith. The Women of Joy Conference will return to Branson on April 3-5 at the Branson Convention Center. Tickets are available for purchase online until seats are filled. 

Spring Ride Days

Silver Dollar City's 2020 season begins with the theme park's Spring Ride Days. Running on select dates in March and on April 3 and 5, Spring Ride Days allows visitors to experience the theme park's 40+ thrilling rides and attractions like Time Traveler, Outlaw Run and The Giant Barn Swing. You can also enjoy a lineup of entertainers, award-winning dining and more to prepare for Silver Dollar City's variety of festivals and events throughout the year! 

Young Christians' Weekend 

A three-day youth conference is coming to Silver Dollar City this spring. From April 3-5, Young Christians' Weekend will highlight concerts, speakers and worship services. Along with the park’s Spring Ride Days, this is the perfect weekend to experience every aspect of Silver Dollar City.

Festival of Wonder  

On select days during April 8-26, Silver Dollar City's Festival of Wonder will leave you in awe with performances by CirqUnique, PAINTJAM featuring Dan Dunn, Precision Card Throwing, The Bottle Boys and more. Plus, give your taste buds a new sensory experience with the theme park's extraordinary festival foods, including Curious Kabobs, World of Bacon treats, Bodacious Brownies and more

Easter in Branson 

The weekend before Easter in Branson is filled with special springtime activities and events. Find special savings and deals at Tanger Outlets' Easter Style & Savings event, or make plans to enjoy an Easter brunch at a local restaurant. Many of Branson's restaurants will serve a special Easter brunch, including the Chateau Grille at Chateau on the Lake, Resort, Spa & Convention Center, the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks, Level 2 Steakhouse and Branson's Center Stage Grille & Bar. Branson Music Fest 

On April 17-18, check out two fun-filled days of music during the Branson Music Fest at the Clay Cooper Theatre. Highlighting an Ozark Mountain Springtime, this special music festival is jam packed with all of the music and talent that makes Branson so magical. Enjoy 10-12 acts each day, including nationally recognized artists, local performers and some of Branson's newest shows! 

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

On April 16-26, the Branson Regional Arts Council will present the local production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame based on the novel by Victor Hugo. The production will also feature songs from the animated Disney film. This is an amazing production the whole family will love! 

Branson Auto Auction

The Branson Collector Car Auction will be held April 17-18 at the Branson Convention Center. This event will showcase an incredible collection of elusive and unique cars from the Midwest. Tickets are $15 for daily admission or $25 for a two-day pass. Military discounts apply. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 800-335-3063. 

In Concert: The Oak Ridge Boys

Take in the famous four-part harmonies and upbeat tunes of The Oak Ridge Boys, the legendary country group, at The Mansion Theatre in Branson on April 17-18 at 8 p.m. each evening. Tickets may be purchased in advance on The Mansion Theatre's website or by calling 866-707-4100. 

Branson International Film Festival

This faith-based, family-friendly festival will be held April 30–May 2 at Music City Center. Designed to educate, equip and empower Christian filmmakers, this festival is geared toward visitors and locals.

Silver Dollar City's 60th Jubilee Homecoming 

Celebrate Silver Dollar City's 60th Diamond Jubliee Homecoming Weekend April 30-May 3! This historic celebration will be full of festivities, including a special opening ceremony on May 1, a "High Noon" event in Echo Hollow and an evening Diamond Rio concert complete with a fireworks finale on May 2, and a praise concert featuring Grammy-nominated artists The Martins on May 3.
