Gettin' Basted BBQ Opens at New Location

The aroma of smoked meats wafting up and down the Branson streets entices visitors to come into the Gettin' Basted’s new location on the Highway 76 to try great barbeque!

It's the culmination of years of hard work paying off inside the Gettin' Basted barbecue restaurant that opened in March 2017.

Where Gettin' Basted Began:

For the past several years, the team at Gettin' Basted has focused on the competition barbecue circuit, racking up awards at Roots N Blues N Barbecue in Columbia, Rock N Ribs in Springfield, and at Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned events (in 2015, they were named the Kansas City Barbecue Society's team of the year for their chicken).

In 2016, they opened a food trailer in Springfield and parlayed that success into a brick-and-mortar shop in Branson, much to the delight of locals and visitors alike (see what folks are saying on Trip Advisor).

What to Expect When You Visit:

Gettin' Basted has a variety of offerings for barbecue fans to enjoy, from their fall-off-the-bone ribs and succulent burnt ends to sides such as potato salad and baked beans.

They also have several sandwich options that pay tribute to popular foods from other destinations. Gettin' Basted's "Miami," for example, is a twist on the traditional Cuban sandwich. It incorporates pulled pork, ham, mustard, Swiss cheese and pickle chips on hoagie-style bread.

And then there are the specialties, such as the chicken and waffle waffles, which includes a quarter chicken and battered sweet potato fries, along with the requisite barbecue sauce and maple syrup.

Sounds pretty good, right?

Stop by Gettin' Basted the next time you are driving in Branson or anytime that aroma of smoky goodness beckons.
You won't leave hungry but will leave with a new appreciation for Branson barbecue.
