Meeting Attendees Make Memories in Branson

For meeting planners who want to organize memorable — and interactive — off-site social activities for their attendees, Branson is a great place for events like scavenger hunts, progressive dinners and pub crawls.

A number of venues have these types of events already created and “on the shelf,” but they can also work with planners to create customized activities based on the specific needs of attendees.

Here are some popular Branson sites for interactive events:

Silver Dollar City

One out-of-the-ordinary venue that's popular with meeting planners is Silver Dollar City. The park is open from March through December and is listed among the top theme parks in the United States. It’s a flexible venue that can accommodate organized groups from 50 attendees to as many as 3,000 or more.

The 61-acre park is ideal for self-guided exploration and scavenger hunts. Your attendees can scour the Silver Dollar City streets and the many booths and shops, following clues to gather photos, passport stamps or other scavenger items that you select. They also have several venues available for presentations, banquets, award ceremonies, team-building events and more (subject to availability). There are indoor theaters than can seat up to 1,100 attendees and outdoor theaters than can accommodate up to 4,500. The park also can provide on-site A/V equipment like mics, projectors, podiums, stage lighting and more.

Attendees can use wristbands and meal vouchers for restaurants throughout the park. For events with 100 or more attendees, the park can set up private buffets. At certain times or days, the park can arrange for private access to rides or shows for an event's participants.
