Along with family-friendly attractions and countless dazzling shows, Branson has dozens of seasonal events this time of year that lead up to the area’s traditional celebrations; including America’s Christmas Tree City.

In October, the lineup of events feature fall festivals, Halloween celebrations and so much more! Here are some events to mark on your calendars during your visit:

Live Music in Branson

Not only does Branson offer world-class live shows year-around, but artists from all over come for one-night-only events. This is a great way for visitors to experience touring concerts during their vacation. Artists like Marty Haggard & Georgette Jones, Trace Adkins and Jeanne Robertson can be seen at one of the many Branson theatres and venues that host traveling performers. With a wide variety of shopping available in Branson, there is something for everyone. If you are looking for local boutiques and shopping, Historic Downtown Branson is the place to go. Fall Festivals in Branson

Throughout each season, Silver Dollar City holds elaborate festivals to highlight different aspects of the theme park and this fall is no exception. National Crafts & Cowboy Festival features demonstrating craftsmen and a salute to the Great American cowboy. Branson Farmers Market is a great place to find locally grown produce, homemade goods and listen to music from local artists! Halloween Events in Branson

Halloween is the perfect excuse to dress-up and spend time with the family. Join the The Hughes Music Show for the Howling Fun Halloween Show. If you wear a costume to the show, receive a $10 discount and a bag of candy. With a costume contest included, this is one Halloween event you won’t want to miss. Both visitors and locals alike can experience all the fun at the Branson Landing's Annual Safe Street Trick or Treat. For kids up to age 12, there will be trick-or-treating at Branson Landing businesses with “pumpkin” signs in the window. Stay afterwards for the Monster Mash Street Dance beginning at 6:30 p.m. That same evening, Tanger Outlets is calling all ghosts, princesses, cowboys and super heroes to participate in TangerStyle Trick or Treat.  This event is from 5 – 7 p.m. for kids 12 years old or younger. Parents accompany participating children will receive a gift from Tanger Outlets!

Unexpected Events in Branson

Branson is full of unexpected surprises! From captivating live shows to thrilling rollercoasters, you never know what’s in-store when you visit Branson. Run Grand Country Half Marathon and 5K, benefitting the Branson Education Foundation to help provide local children with opportunities they may not otherwise have, is a great way to support a cause while staying active. Another unique event to the Branson area is the Balloons Over Branson. Each morning over a 5-day period, balloons will fill the Branson area sky and be visible for miles. Groups can even reserve a flight in a hot air balloon, just make sure to call ahead of time. The Scott Safety's National Firefighter Combat Challenge, returning to Branson again this year, is bigger and better than ever! This friendly competition honors the men and women who serve our nation fighting fires while bringing the community together.
