Silver Dollar City’s Boldest Year of Entertainment

Silver Dollar City delivers a diverse mix of live shows, performances, and entertainment.

Beginning in the Spring with The Festival of Wonder, dubbed “A Most Amazing Entertainment Experience,” Phoenix Fire takes center stage for a pyro-filled, special effects experience unlike any ever seen, while extraordinary feats of strength and balance are the cornerstone of CirqUnique, featuring five NEW acts for 2019.

The award-winning Bluegrass & BBQ Festival closes out spring with live stage performances from top bluegrass artists, and Bluegrass Nights, NEW for 2019, presents nightly concerts in Echo Hollow Amphitheatre. Don’t forget there’s plenty of famous BBQ and even delectable Mason jar desserts.

Star-Spangled Summer brings the entire family together for a summer to remember with the NEW, $1 million mega production, Reuben’s Swashbuckling Adventure. Imagination comes to life with this all-new production of a magic journey of discovery with a colorful cast, flying characters, and state-of-the-art sets and special effects. Meanwhile, direct from America’s Got Talent is a show featuring the world’s youngest professional magician and illusionist, Kid Magic, starring Kadan Bart Rockett & Brooklyn.

Moonlight Madness extends park hours to 10 pm (and midnight on Saturdays), along with Southern Gospel Picnic and its NEW Southern Gospel Nights close out a stellar summer season. Country Music Days follow Labor Day with live country music playing each day on all The City’s outdoor stages, along with Celebrity Concerts on Saturdays with featured acts Sawyer Brown and Shenandoah.

Fall makes way for the biggest festival adventure in Silver Dollar City’s history—Harvest Festival features Craft Days and the NEW Pumpkin Nights. Craft Days brings hundreds of artisans, a new group each week, during the festival, along with the NEW Cirque Éloize Lumberjacks Show, a somersaulting, high-energy production crafted exclusively for the guests of Silver Dollar City.

Come nightfall, the streets transform into a glowing-orange, pumpkin-filled wonderland during Pumpkin Nights. Thousands of pumpkin creations and larger-than-life icons headline this nightly event, including giant scarecrows, cats, owls, and even Craftsmen-inspired glowing creations. The NEW Pumpkin Pathway leads to the NEW Pumpkin Plaza with dance parties and fall activities for the whole family. The park extends hours for this new festival to 9 pm (and even later Fridays & Saturdays).

The grand finale to the most entertaining year in Silver Dollar City’s history is the internationally-acclaimed and awarded festival, An Old Time Christmas. Over 6.5 million lights joyfully illuminate The City with lights covering each and every building. Christmas in Midtown blankets part of the City with just over 1.5 million lights on every feasible surface, while Rudolph’s Holly Jolly™ Christmas Parade ventures through the park nightly and Christmas on Main Street, with its towering special effects Christmas tree , bathes the entire park in even more light. Broadway-style productions of It’s A Wonderful Life and A Dickens’ Christmas Carol spread Christmas cheer to audiences of all ages.
