White River Kayaking and Outdoors encourages the outdoor enthusiast in all of us and is a big supporter of the Ozarks outdoors. The Branson/Lakes Area offers over 200 miles of spectacular hiking, biking and horseback-riding trails. Including the popular Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area, located on Highway 76 West between Branson and Indian Point. Trails that nature and wildlife enthusiast are sure to enjoy. Another favorite is the Lakeside Wilderness Hiking Trail, located in a Branson City park that borders an undeveloped portion of Lake Taneycomo and is easily accessible from the Highway 76 strip. The Table Rock Lakeshore Trail is 2.2 miles and connects the Dewey Short Visitor Center to the Showboat Branson Belle. This is a paved trail and is accessible by foot and open to bikes, wheelchairs and skateboard use as well.

Missouri's seemingly "magical" Mark Twain National Forest offers visitors a wealth of outdoor recreational opportunities around the Branson/Lakes Area with more than 75,000 acres of national forest in both Stone and Taney Counties. Significant hiking and biking trails are in the Piney Creek Wilderness and the Hercules Glades Wilderness, which encompass some of the most scenic and unique country in the Midwest.

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a privately-owned 10,000 acre park located southwest of Branson on Highway 86. It offers breath taking views and miles of paved walking, biking and hiking trails.
