BRANSON, MO: Branson’s Gift of Lights will be back in 2018 with even more displays. Construction for this year’s light display began in early October. Several new displays will be featured along with previous favorites! Guests of all ages look forward to this Christmas light drive thru display each year.

This year the light display will feature new displays such as the “North Pole Village”, patriotic displays, heralding angels, and a Nativity scene. Some of the favorite displays that will be returning include “Twelve Days of Christmas,” “Santa and His Sleigh,” “Elfco Construction Company,” and “Dino World.”

New this year, Mrs. Claus will join Santa to take selfies with guests and share hot cocoa. Guests can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night through December 22nd. One hundred percent of donations from selfies and hot cocoa with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be given to KLIFE ministries.

Steve Hager, manager of the Branson Gift of Lights said, “We are excited to be able to take donations for KLIFE; it’s such a wonderful ministry. And, we are proud of the historic role we play in the Ozark Mountain Christmas Season. Tens of thousands of guests visit us each year with their loved ones.”

Branson’s Gift of Lights opened in 2015 as Branson’s first Christmas light display to feature 100% LED lighting displays. Operating with 100% LED allows for the lights to shine brighter than normal while helping the environment as well.

The light display will be open to the public beginning on November 1st. Branson’s Gift of Lights will be open seven nights a week from dusk until 11pm and will run through January 1st. Branson’s Gift of Lights is located on Expressway Lane just north of Sight and Sound Theater.

Guests are invited to bring 3 cans or boxes of non-perishable food and in return will save $3 on admission of car, truck, or family van (excludes commercial vehicles). Food donations will be given to CAM – Christian Action Ministries Food Pantries of Taney and Stone Counties. Hager continues, “CAM does a remarkable job. The number of people they help is staggering. We are grateful to be even a small part of this ministry.”

Branson’s Gift of Lights is honored to once again have Branson Scenic Railways as a presenting sponsor. Some sponsorship opportunities are still available. Branson’s Gift of Lights is an important attraction for Branson Scenic Railway’s Christmas tours.
