BRANSON, MO (February 2015) – Chateau on the Lake Resort & Spa in Branson will host an Author Luncheon on Thursday, March 26, 2015, with noted writer and travel photographer Gayle Harper, who will speak about her insightful new book Roadtrip with a Raindrop: 90 Days Along the Mississippi River. The well-received book describes an amazing and heartfelt journey from the headwaters of the Mississippi in Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. The project received accolades from Eat Pray Love author Elizabeth Gilbert, and the new book has already received praise by National Geographic Photographer Bob Krist as “a beautiful, warm and intimate portrait, as stunning to look at as it is to read, that makes us appreciate all that the Mississippi River has meant and continues to mean to America.”

The Author Luncheon at the AAA Four-Diamond resort will be held from noon-2 p.m. in the resort’s Barcelona/Madrid room. In addition to speaking at the luncheon Harper also will be available to sign copies of the book.
