Road Name Change Announced for Part of Highway 76
BRANSON, Mo – Effective immediately, the 911 physical address or “road name,” has changed along the route previously addressed as W. State Hwy 76. The new road name is “76 Country Blvd.”
*updated as of 1/8/2020. The new road name is "W 76 Country Blvd", not simply "76 Country Blvd."
This address change only applies at the intersection of Roark Valley Road on the East end and continues to the intersection of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway on the West end. All businesses and mailing addresses along this route will need to change their mailing addresses, signage and any other marketing resources.
This change is taking place because the City of Branson has taken over ownership of this portion of the highway from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). This means it can no longer be a State numbered highway.
Although the road name for the route is now “*w 76 Country Blvd,” the address numbers will remain the same.
For example:
- 1234 W. State Hwy 76 is now 1234 *W 76 Country Blvd
East of Roark Valley Road, the route will continue to be referred to as Main St., easterly to the intersection of Veterans Blvd. From the intersection of Shepherd of the Hills Expy, westerly to the Highroad interchange, the route will now be part of State Hwy 376. Additionally, State Hwy 465 (Ozark Mountain Highroad), is now W. State Hwy 76.
