October 24, 2017, BRANSON MO. - The new ownership of The Shepherd of the Hills Homestead Adventure Park has announced that the popular drive through Trail of Lights Christmas display will return to Branson starting November 1, 2017. Guests will be able to experience the classic drive through lights display complete with hot chocolate and a chance to ride to the top of the brightly-lit Inspiration Tower. In addition to the drive through, guests will also be able take a carriage ride through a portion of the Trail of Lights for a select time.

The Trail of Lights will follow its traditional course, winding through The Shepherd of the Hills 160-acre historic property, and will be available November 1 through the end of December. The drive through display of lights will feature many of the classic Christmas scenes from the past.

“Christmas is a very special part of Branson’s history, and the Trail of Lights is an experience guests have enjoyed for years. We are excited to be a part of preserving the history and magic of Christmas in Branson,” says Jeff Johnson, co-owner of The Shepherd of the Hills.

In addition to adding carriage rides to the Trail of Lights Christmas experience, The Shepherd of the Hills team recently introduced ATV off-road trail tours through the property. The team also plans to continue working on additional developments on the property including updates to the outdoor drama, more Ozark themed adventures and updates to the Trail of Lights for the 2018 season.
“When we purchased The Shepherd of the Hills, we took on the responsibility to preserve the heart of the Ozarks, and we do not take that lightly,” Johnson says. “The Trail of Lights at The Shepherd of the Hills will continue to be a family tradition that folks around here can look forward to year after year.”
