Now Branson residents and tourists with food allergies can have their cake and eat it too!

Branson, MO: For the 15 million Americans living with food allergies, including 1 in 13 children, access to safe, convenient food is of utmost importance. Deciding who to trust with specialty diets can be difficult for both those in the food allergy community, and those who wish to welcome them to celebrations involving food.

Sit By Me Bakery is a family owned and operated business. Personal experience with Celiac Disease and multiple food allergies means the Keenan family knows firsthand the stress of trying to find safe food, and what it?s like to be left out at gatherings because they can?t partake in what is available. The family began their specialty baking journey when their younger son was diagnosed with allergies to soy, seeds, and tree nuts. Allergy-friendly baking began from necessity but quickly turned into a family passion, then a small business as word spread about their tasty, beautiful sweets. Sit By Me Bakery operated in Denver for almost two years before the family moved to Branson.

Sit By Me Bakery is dedicated free from the eight most common food allergens; wheat, eggs, milk, peanut, tree nuts (with the exception of coconut), soy, fish, and shellfish. Their delectable treats are also free from gluten, oats, seeds, corn, yeast, nightshades, and artificial colors and flavors. The bakers pride themselves on creating breakfast foods and desserts that are full of flavor and texture. The only things missing are the allergens!

Baking delicious gluten-free, allergy-friendly treats that please those with AND without dietary restrictions is what Sit By Me Bakery is all about. Their belief in inclusion is at the heart of all they do, and their name is part of this vision.

“The connection experienced when people come together over safe food makes the world a better place, and we are grateful we can help meet this important need,” say owners Angie and Steve Keenan, “We look forward to sharing our cinnamon rolls, muffins, cupcakes, and other desserts with Branson residents and visitors!”
