Cultural Experiences to Enjoy

Showboat Branson Belle Silver Dollar City Showboat Lake Scenic

Around every corner in Branson is a museum, gallery, attraction, or venue centered on Ozarks heritage, Americana, or performance arts. Live shows have been drawing visitors to the city for more than five decades, starting with country, bluegrass, and gospel music, and today encompassing all genres of music as well as many non-music acts, such as magic and acrobatics. With more than 100 different shows and numerous theater venues, you can find morning, afternoon, and evening showtimes to fit any rainy-day schedule.

A visit here is both moving and memorable, offering a powerful connection to one of history’s most storied voyages.

Couples and groups of all ages will appreciate Fritz’s Adventure, which brings the outdoor excitement into the great indoors. With three stories and 80,000 square feet, Fritz’s features a zipline course with over 40 obstacles, climbing walls, slides, tunnels, ropes courses, and more.

Families with kiddos eager to be at the pool can still let them have their fun on a rainy spring day at the climate-controlled Splash Country Indoor Waterpark at Grand Country. It’s filled with water slides, raft rides, a wave pool, a lazy river, a basketball activity pool, plus even more ways for the little adventurers to burn off energy.

If you came to Branson to visit our 1880s theme park, don’t let a little rain keep you away. Silver Dollar City offers plenty of things to do indoors, including Broadway-style shows, demonstrations by master craftsmen, shops selling their wares, unique dining, and tours of the 505-foot-deep Marvel Cave, where the temperature remains a steady 58 degrees year-round.
