The temperatures are just right to enjoy indoor and outdoor water activities, and the June crowds are manageable. These parks are diverse enough to accommodate a range of ages and energy levels, from toddler-friendly zones to adventure rides for the teens and lazy rivers for parents.

Voted one of America’s best outdoor water parks by USA TODAY readers and delivering 2 million gallons of fun, Silver Dollar City’s White Water is a 13-acre tropical-themed oasis. There are rides, slides, and waves for thrill seekers, little ones, and the whole family. Relax on the Aloha River at Hula Hula Bay or conquer the Kalani Towers’ exhilarating 75-foot free fall at over 40 mph. Cabana rentals and reserved seating are available with reservations.

The largest indoor water park Branson offers is Splash Country Indoor & Outdoor Waterpark at Grand Country Resort, which sell day passes to non-overnight guests. Open year-round, more than 20,000 square feet of climate-controlled indoor space is kept warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Splash Country has 12 water attractions, including water slides, raft rides, a wave pool, a lazy river, a basketball activity pool, a toddler play area, and more. There is also an interactive outdoor playground open in the summer months with water features for all ages.

The Branson Aquaplex at RecPlex, a 12,250-square-foot outdoor aquatic center, adds even more ways to cool off, along with several waterpark hotels such as the lakeside Still Waters Resort and the lakefront WaterMill Cove Resort, each packed with pools, slides, and extra amenities.
