Nothing compares to seeing millions of twinkling lights illuminate Silver Dollar City at Christmastime. One of the festival's most spectacular displays is Joy on Town Square, where an eight-story animated Christmas tree takes center stage.

The towering tree combines colorful imagery, lights and music in a dazzling synchronized display that transforms the heart of the park into a Christmas celebration. It's a favorite spot to pause, take in the sights and soak up the holiday atmosphere.

With 1.5 million Christmas lights of its own, Christmas in Midtown is another can’t-miss stop during An Old Time Christmas.

The dazzling display features towering structures covered in lights, glowing tunnels and festive decorations that transform Midtown into a sparkling Christmas wonderland. As Christmas music fills the air, guests can stroll through the display and experience one of Silver Dollar City's most impressive holiday traditions.

There's no better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with one of Silver Dollar City's spectacular live shows. From Broadway-style productions to bluegrass-infused holiday music and interactive experiences, there's something for every member of the family.

This year, A Dickens' Christmas Carol celebrates its 25th year at Silver Dollar City, bringing the beloved Charles Dickens story to life with music, elaborate costumes and plenty of Christmas spirit.

Heart of Christmas also returns with bluegrass-infused holiday songs and stories, while The Living Nativity offers a meaningful retelling of the Christmas story. Guests can also enjoy A Timeless Story, featuring Spoken 4, Tinker's Junior Toy Shop and more festive entertainment throughout the park.

A New Christmas Parade Joins the Celebration

One of the biggest additions to An Old Time Christmas in 2026 is the Stars, Lights & Christmas Nights Parade™, a brand-new interactive "show on the go" that brings the Christmas story directly into the streets of Silver Dollar City.

Rather than simply watching the parade pass by, guests become part of the experience as the colorful production unfolds around them. The new parade adds another festive nighttime experience to a season already filled with lights, music and entertainment.

Living Nativity

Step back into ancient Bethlehem, and get an up-close look at life as it may have been for Mary and Joseph many years ago. Silver Dollar City's An Old Time Christmas wouldn't be the same without the living nativity, and visitors aren't soon to forget the musical dramatization of the biblical account. Lasting just 15 minutes, the program is presented several times a day during the festival.

Tastes of the Season

Christmas is the time to feast on your choice of roast beast, along with all the fixin's. During An Old Time Christmas, Silver Dollar City's Reunion Hall serves a scrumptious prime-rib buffet, featuring hand-carved smoked prime rib, root beer-glazed ham, fried chicken, old-fashioned chicken and noodles and a mouthwatering array of sides.

Meanwhile, Molly's Mill's holiday buffet serves up a traditional turkey dinner, featuring not only a hickory smoked turkey, but also fried chicken, chicken and noodles and glazed pit ham plus all your favorite holiday sides and decadent desserts. Likewise, the Mine Restaurant hosts its own holiday buffet featuring pulled pork with baked apples, smoked orange-glazed chicken, smoked beef brisket, ham and beans, beef stew, sweet potato casserole, corn bread and more.

Of course, holiday tastes go beyond Christmas dinner. Warm yourself up as you remember Christmases past while drinking a hot mug of wassail, cappuccino or hot chocolate served in various shops and eateries throughout the park. Top your day off with some hot apple dumplings and cinnamon ice cream, the perfect confection to complete a holiday outing to the theme park.
