Whether you're planning your first trip to Branson, or you're a frequent visitor looking for fresh ideas, you've found the most helpful resource! Our sample itinerary packs the most possible fun into your five day family vacation.

Day One

We encourage a city-wide shopping spree to commence on day one in Branson. In addition to retail and novelty shops, Branson's shopping centers are filled with entertainment options and photo opportunities to keep all ages engaged. At Grand Village Shops, after your unique shopping experience, stop for a picture at the large rocking chair in the middle of the courtyard and then grab a bite to eat at Mel's Hard Luck Diner, home to the city's singing servers (and tasty, classic American diner cuisine!).

A couple shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Another favorite shopping center for families is Branson Landing. Here, you will find unforgettable attractions, your favorite retail stores, only-in-Branson shops, delicious dining options and the crowd-favorite Branson Landing Fountain Show. The fountain show fuzes water cannons, fire, music and bright lights into a thrilling show at the top of every hour during normal business hours. Grab a famous dish founded from a celebrity chef at the property's newest restaurant, Guy Fieri's Branson Kitchen + Bar.

Shop and check out a beautiful fountain show at the Branson Landing.

After dinner, get your first taste of Branson as the Live Music Show Capital of the World! All of our 150+ shows present wholesome and entertaining fun for the whole family. We have compiled a list of our top shows for kids, like REZA, Buckets N Boards and more.

Day Two

After a full day of shopping and experiencing your first Branson show, it is time to head to Silver Dollar City, the most esteemed and beloved themed part in the region. If you haven't heard, Silver Dollar City is an 1880s themed family fun park that offers thrilling rollercoasters, scrumptious food, educational opportunities and unique craftsmanship. Even if you spend the whole day at The City, there will still be more to see. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes are available.

Day Three

No matter the season, there is always fun to be had on a scenic Branson lake. During the spring, summer and fall, we recommend renting your own boat to cruise the waters of Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo or Bull Shoals. Fishing, tubing, water skiing, bluff jumping, paddleboarding and kayaking are some of the top, self-guided lake adventures. During the winter months, take a cruise on Table Rock Lakes' Showboat Branson Belle, a 700-passenger paddlewheel riverboat. Book a lunch or dinner cruise to get great views, tasty eats and talented live show performances. Cruises are available ten months of the year (excluding January and February).

Carhops will take your order as you flip your car's radio to cast audio to match the movie playing on the big screen!
