The January 23, 1968 attack and capture of the USS Pueblo ship and crew by the North Korean Navy began a tumultuous year for the United States. While the Captain of the ship awaited help, the Johnson Administration halted the rescue squadron from taking off. The ensuing "Pueblo Incident" brought the world to the brink of World War III between the United States, North Korea, China, and The Soviet Union. The Pueblo crewmen endured months of torture and mistreatment from their North Korean captors only to return and face the prospects of incarceration by their own government.

Pueblo: A year of Crisis in America, has been excepted to 16 international film festivals, received 5 awards, and placed semi-finalist 8 times.
