The 2024 season multiplies in fun and adventure with the addition of a thrilling lumberjack competition set high in the “treetops” above the arena.
BRANSON, MISSOURI (February 21, 2024) – Celebrating three decades of entertaining and memory making, Dolly Parton’s Stampede in Branson is opening for its 30th season on February 27 with a exciting new act to add even more to the high-spirited adventure in this unforgettable dinner show . A combination of equestrian excellence, lively music and storytelling, a bit of comedic horseplay and a delicious four-course feast come together to make up “The World’s Most Visited Dinner Show Attraction.”
The 2024 season multiplies in fun and adventure with the addition of a thrilling lumberjack competition set high in the “treetops” above the arena. “Rumble in the Treetops” joins the dinner show excitement by showcasing the strength and agility of skilled lumberjack teams as they climb, chop, saw and log roll their way through an exhilarating four-event relay.
Before even stepping inside the 35,000 square-foot arena, the excitement begins outside with the Horse Walk. Guests have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the dinner show’s four-legged equine stars. Then in the Saloon, the pre-show excitement is back and better than ever, with a mix of bluegrass and country music performed live for guests. The grand spectacle opens with Stampede’s skilled ensemble guiding the show’s 32 magnificent horses through thrilling equestrian challenges including barrel races, trick riding and more exciting feats. Stampede brings the allure of the American frontier to life with a thundering herd of buffalo and Westward cattle drive of longhorn steer.
The other star of the show, Stampede’s hearty four-course feast, is served shortly after guests are seated. Visitors are in for a treat as they indulge in a culinary lineup of savory creamy vegetable soup, a buttery biscuit, a whole rotisserie chicken, buttery corn on the cob and much more, concluding with a specialty dessert and unlimited beverages including Coca-Cola® products, tea and coffee. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals available upon request.
For the finale, the cast comes together in a patriotic salute featuring “Color Me America,” an original song composed by Dolly. The talented Stampede riders and their majestic horses take center stage for an inspiring and memorable red, white and blue tribute to America.
“This special show brings back fond childhood memories for me – of being together and sharing a delicious home-cooked meal with my family and the people I love the most,” said Dolly. “At my Stampede, we share that feeling with everyone who comes to see the show but with entertainment and a show that is world-class. I love the fun in the competitions, the great musical numbers, and especially the horses and all the other animals you’ll see. We’ve even added an exciting new competition that will take you to new heights – you don’t want to miss that! Those are just a few of the reasons my dinner show is considered the most fun place to eat in Branson - I guarantee you’ve never had a dinner like this before!”
