Lights of Joy Announces Winners of First Annual Christmas Lights Award

BRANSON, MO, May 16, 2022: Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru has awarded businesses in 5 different categories, awards for the best Christmas lights. Steve Hager of Attractions Management Group, LLC, in Branson announced the first annual Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru Awards for Best Christmas Lights in 2021, naming winners in five categories of businesses – Hotel, Restaurant, Attraction, Theater, and General Business.
Hager said, “We got such good reviews of our Christmas drive-thru, Lights of Joy. Everyone loved the new lights and the fantastic animation. We drew great crowds. But our attraction was just part of the appeal of Ozark Mountain Christmas. We wanted to recognize those businesses that helped make our community shine at Christmas. We want the world to know about Ozark Mountain Christmas, and how beautiful it is and the real reason for the season.”
The first awards announced for Christmas 2021 were as follows:
- HOTEL WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Hilton Branson Convention Center.
- RESTAURANT WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Chick-fil-A Branson.
- ATTRACTION WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: The Track Family Fun Parks (Branson Ferris Wheel).
- THEATER WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Presleys’ Theatre.
- GENERAL BUSINESS WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Dick’s 5 & 10.
Hager continued, “Several years ago, Branson had awards for best Christmas lights, but that was discontinued. The spirit of the town, and the effort put forth by so many businesses last Christmas, coupled with the chance to shine the light on Branson’s Ozark Mountain Christmas, inspired us to introduce these awards.”
“We were a little late in getting the awards to the businesses but it’s never too late to show appreciate and thank businesses for their Christmas spirit. Hopefully other businesses will be inspired by what these businesses have done.”
Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru plans to expand the process in 2022 with seeking out nominations after November 1 through their website. So if you want to nominate a business for Best Christmas Lights, just go to lightsofjoydrivethru.com beginning November 1 to nominate.
The plan is these will become annual awards.
Hager also commented that an exciting announcement will be coming soon about 2022 for Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru.
