Old Ozarks Settlers Days at Shepherd of the Hills May 15-16

BRANSON, Missouri – The Shepherd of the Hills is hosting Shepherd’s Old Ozark Settlers Day at the farm on May

15-16 to celebrate pioneer history and heritage.

To kick off the 2021 Season of The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama, The Society of Ozarkian Hillcrofters will be helping

Shepherd of the Hills celebrate with a weekend-long pioneer event! The event will feature over 40+ demonstrating

artisans & crafts booths, musicians, historians, plus lectures in the historic Morgan Chapel Church.

Guests can shop at the different craft vendors and artisans, take part in lectures at the Morgan Chapel, walk through a self-guided tour

of the farm, and have their kids enjoy Lil’ Pete’s Playland. Guests will head "back in time" to learn from artisans including hand-thrown pottery, woodcarvers, broom makers, chainsaw carver, wagon/wainwright, 1800's camp/pedal sewers, rope makers, and more. This is a great learning experience about pioneer history for all, especially those school-aged.

There will also be food trucks, live music from great local bands, Sammy Lane’s Sweets ‘n’ Treats, and several other activities which the whole family can enjoy while visiting the Old Ozarks Settlers Days.

Tickets will be available at the gate for $5 per person. Hours of the event are Saturday, May 15 from 10 am to 7:30 pm and

Sunday, May 16 from 10 am to 5 pm. Kids 12 and under are free to the event. The entry gate will be at the ticket booth near

the Playhouse Theater and craft shops in the park. Parking is free. The event will be two full days.
