Over $329M In Scholarships Offered To BHS Senior Class
Branson High School has partnered with VU Scholarships to expand scholarship access for students and offer more opportunities to graduating seniors

BRANSON, MO (May 13, 2025) – For the second consecutive year, Branson High School has partnered with VU Scholarships, a Kansas City-based organization, to expand scholarship access for students and offer more opportunities to graduating seniors.
Students were honored during the annual Senior Awards Night held at Branson High School on May 12. $329,109,474 in local and merit-based scholarship awards were offered to BHS seniors.
“The success of our students is a direct result of their dedication and the strong support system surrounding them,” says Branson High School senior counselor, Dixie Bailey. “This partnership with our local community and national institutions opens doors to countless opportunities for our graduates, and we couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead of them.”
VU is a platform that matches high school students with college scholarships ahead of application, and exists to encourage, support, and guide students in higher education planning. VU currently partners with over 75 area high schools and has over 30 university partners.
Representatives and benefactors from over forty area businesses and organizations, as well as local military recruiters, were in attendance at Branson High School’s Senior Awards Night to present scholarships and awards to members of the Class of 2025. Bailey adds, “The generosity of our local donors remains a vital part of making our students’ post-secondary dreams come true.” Branson High School will hold its commencement ceremony on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. Branson High School seniors and their awards are as follows: (See List)
