BRANSON, MISSOURI (March 12, 2025) – Some of the most iconic “survivors” from the RMS Titanic on its fateful maiden voyage in April 1912 were life jackets. Only 14 of these are still known to exist and are confirmed to have been aboard the great ship.

Five of the life jackets are now showcased together among other rare and historic items at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson, Missouri. Along with the life jackets, there will be an exclusive collection of Titanic lifeboat plaques, some on display for the first time ever.

This new exhibit of priceless artifacts will be displayed beginning Saturday, March 1 and will remain on exhibit at the Branson attraction for a limited time. This unprecedented exhibition offers Titanic Museum visitors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness these remarkable relics up close.

Branson’s Titanic Museum Attraction is the only place in the world to have more than two life jackets from the ship on display. The five on display in the new exhibit are verified to have been worn by Madeleine Astor; Laura Francatelli; an unknown victim; an unknown survivor; and a survivor in the crew. The lifeboat plaques on display are of two types that include two flags and six elongated nameplates. One of those nameplates is owned by recording artist Rick Springfield, a Titanic artifact collector.

In addition to the new exhibit, visitors also will have the opportunity to explore more than 400 authentic artifacts, walk through stunning recreations of the ship’s interior, and immerse themselves in Titanic’s incredible story. From the chilling iceberg to the majestic Grand Staircase, every detail throughout the Titanic Museum Attraction is designed to honor the ship’s history. With locations in both Branson, Missouri, and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the Titanic Museum Attractions stand as tributes to the RMS Titanic and the 2,208 aboard in 1912.

The Titanic Museum Attractions in Branson, Missouri and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee open daily at 9 a.m. Reservations are required and can be made online at titanicattraction.com or by phone at 800-381-7670.
