Babe Ruth League’s Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series and Branson Convention & Visitors Bureau Honored as a 2019 Champion of Economic Impact in Sports Tourism by Sports Destination Management

The 2019 Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series included champions from throughout the United States and 9 other countries. Babe Ruth League has been a true community partner. In addition to the Direct Visitor Spending resulting from this tournament, thirty-four (34) games aired live on Stadium from August 2-10. In 2019, Babe Ruth League, Inc. finalized an agreement with Varsity Scoreboards to be the Official Scoreboard Manufacturer of Babe Ruth League. As a part of the agreement, Babe Ruth League organized the donation of a 16x9 videoboard ($80,000) and scoreboard to Branson, MO.

Road Name Change Announced for Part of Highway 76

*updated as of 1/8/2020. The new road name is "W 76 Country Blvd", not simply "76 Country Blvd."

This address change only applies at the intersection of Roark Valley Road on the East end and continues to the intersection of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway on the West end. All businesses and mailing addresses along this route will need to change their mailing addresses, signage and any other marketing resources.

World War II Bombers Rumble Ozarks Sky: A Patriotic Celebration of Historic Planes

The sights, sounds, and stories of World War II aviation will come to life when the iconic Boeing B-29 Superfortress, FIFI, and the Consolidated B-24 Liberator, DIAMOND LIL, land at Branson Airport. The Bombers are accompanied by a P-51 Mustang, a T-6 Texan, a PT-13 Stearman and a T-34 Mentor. Presented by Branson Airport and the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), the Airpower History Tour makes stops at airports across North America each year. Visitors are able to view the aircraft, visit with the pilots, purchase rides in the aircraft, and tour the B-29 and B-24 cockpits.

Branson, Missouri Receives Cal Ripken Major/70 World Series Through 2022
