Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru Announces All New Displays

BRANSON, MO - One of Branson’s most popular Christmas attractions, Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru, announced today that they will have a completely new Christmas drive-thru in 2021. “Every major display, every piece of animation, every arch and tunnel will be replaced,” says Steve Hager, manager of Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru.  

The Duttons perform at Bicentennial Ball

On Aug. 10, 1821, Missouri became the 24th state in the union. In honor of the state’s 200th Anniversary, the office of Governor Mike Parson hosted a Bicentennial Inaugural Ball on Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Missouri State Capitol, for which Branson’s own The Duttons were invited to perform as the evenings headlining entertainment.

The Duttons Co-CEO, Mother and Grandmother Sheila Dutton said the credit for their invitation to the ball must go to the governor himself. 

Local Residents Chosen as Missouri Farm Family for Taney County

Forsyth, Mo. ― Jeramie and Nina Henson and family of Cedarcreek were among the families honored during the 62nd annual Missouri Farm Family Day, Aug. 16 at the Missouri State Fair.  Each year, the fair sets aside a day to recognize farm families from across the state that are active in their communities, involved in agriculture, and/or participate in local outreach and extension programs such as 4-H or FFA.

Walk-in Clinic for Free Covid-19 Vaccine at Branson Chamber of Commerce

The Moderna vaccine will be offered to people ages 18 and up at the Branson Chamber of Commerce, 4100 Gretna Rd., with the first dose being administered on Thurs., Aug. 19 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and the second dose on Thurs., Sept. 16 from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Two weeks after your last dose, you will be protected against serious illness caused by COVID-19.
