Branson’s Chateau on the Lake Resort knows how to put on a show, as the resort offers a memorable firework display every year. Celebrate Memorial Day on May 25 at Chateau on the Lake with an outdoor barbecue event, complete with live music. While the firework display is primarily provided for resort guests' enjoyment, the public is also invited to take in the show, either from the property's grounds, the peninsula just north of Table Rock Dam or from their boat on the lake. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Memorials and Museums

In Branson, it’s second nature to pay tribute to the men and women who have and continue to fight for our country’s freedom.

At the Veterans Memorial Museum, you will be reminded of the ultimate sacrifices that have been made over the last century. The museum’s walls are lined with every known name of the fallen over the past one hundred years.

You’ll find peace and serenity in the Veterans Memorial Garden on W 76 Country Blvd. You’ll find beautiful sculptures, pieces of art and floral arrangements signifying each soldiers’ willingness to serve.

College of the Ozarks highly respects military service members. They’ve created a culture of patriotic awareness amongst their students and across their campus by incorporating patriotic values in the classroom and strategically placing gorgeous memorials throughout their campus. Lake Days

Memorial Day weekend is the best time to be out on our three pristine lakes. Grab a boat, a tube, some water skiis, a wakeboard, sunglasses and sunscreen and head out to the water with the whole family. Check out all things pertaining to boating in Branson here! Kick off the weekend right with Branson Landing’s first concert in their Summer Concert Series: Papa Greens Shoes. The band will perform in front of the Landing’s fountain show starting at 7 pm on Friday, May 23. Papa Green Shoes is a high-energy band presenting modern blues, soul, funk and rock. While you’re there, grab a bite at the Branson Landing restaurants.

Branson Blast Pickleball Tournament is running from May 22 to May 25 at the Branson Convention Center. Grab your partner and prepare for a great time playing the sports that’s taking the world by storm. Find out more about this fun family event here.

Also at the Branson Convention Center, catch the American Cornhole Organization Majors Tournament from May 22 to May 24. Spectators, walk-ups and registered players are each welcome to this fun event in Branson.

On Saturday, May 23, Tanger Outlets proudly presents the Memorial Day Block Party & Food Trucks event. From 11 am to 3 pm, your family is invited to play games, get your face painted, eat at local food trucks, jump on inflatables and dance the afternoon away to the tunes of a local DJ. Enjoy savings at Tanger Outlet stores all weekend!

Memorial Day is the grand finale to Silver Dollar City’s Bluegrass & Barbecue Festival. Every year this festival proves to be one of the world’s most recognized bluegrass events. Oh, don’t forget about the award-winning barbecue! The park is open May 23-24 9:30 am to 10 pm and May 25 9:30 am to 7 pm.
