As the hybrid and virtual event revolution rose to the occasion as a solution for getting back to safely meeting, Branson CVB followed suit by adapting to accommodate the new mindset planners would have when planning future events in our destination.

Hybrid 101

By now, the term “hybrid” has become familiar messaging followed by “meetings and events.” Consisting of both an in-person component and a virtual component, hybrid meetings and events are essentially about providing two different experiences in one event—and bridging the gap to engage both audiences. They are driving digital transformation and have become a solution that’s helped paved the new way—and they are here to stay.

Branson’s hotels, venues and suppliers have become knowledgeable on how to provide hybrid options with sophisticated virtual capabilities and upgraded technical operations for meetings and events in our destination.

Bridging the Gap at BCC

When your meeting destination consists of a 220,000-square-foot convention center in a state-of-the-art bi-level setting like the Branson Convention Center (BCC), the technical capabilities for hybrid and virtual options go above and beyond to ensure the success of events. As a high-tech architectural gem, BCC features the latest in meeting technology—including LCD screens in all meeting rooms, high-speed Internet and WiFi, video conferencing, soundproof rooms, and endless audio/visual possibilities.

Notable Mention: Hybrid options proved to be beneficial after a successful Good Morning, Branson event. Seventy-five people socially distanced in-person with additional Branson Chamber and CVB members joining the event virtually. The high production live streaming was in thanks to the partnership with the Branson Convention Center.

Hilton Hotels With Hybrid Options

Both the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing are participating properties in the Meetings Simplified™ by Hilton program, which offers simplified meeting packages ideal for smaller groups—and includes technology services to utilize in hybrid and virtual events. Hilton has partnered with customers and planners to deliver an elevated standard for event experience and engagement. Planners will have access to Hilton EventReady resources and best practices for event design, hybrid events, technology and networking.
