One lane of Highway 165/265 cross Table Rock Dam to temporarily close

BRANSON, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be closing one lane of the Highway 165/265 bridge across Table Rock Dam and the Table Rock Auxiliary Spillway from Jan. 2 to Feb. 29 so work crews can conduct routine maintenance and repairs on both structures.

Traffic lights, signs and cones will be positioned at each end of the dam and spillway to direct traffic around the work zones.

If you are traveling in the area, please obey traffic signals and drive cautiously around equipment and work crews. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destinations.

USACE Waives Day Use Fees at Recreation Areas in Observance of Veterans Day

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that it will waive day use fees at its more than 2,850 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide in observance of Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

The waiver covers fees for boat launch ramps and swim beaches. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services or fees for specialized facilities and events. Other entities that manage recreation areas on USACE lands are encouraged, but not required, to offer the waiver in areas they manage.
