LEGENDS IN CONCERT ANNOUNCES NEW NAME FOR BRANSON THEATER

BRANSON, MO (February 8, 2024) – Legends in Concert, the World’s Greatest Live Tribute Show, and PepsiCo have announced a new corporate sponsorship program with Pepsi beverages initially focused around Legends’ Branson, Missouri operations. The Theater formerly known as Dick Clark’s American Bandstand theater and owned by Carnegie Companies will now be known as the Pepsi Legends Theater.

Branson/Lakes Area Students Enjoy Special Gift from New Era Cap Company

(Friday, February 9, 2024-Branson, MO) Branson/Lakes Area Students were surprised on Thursday, February 8, 2024, with special hats celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVII Champions. The 9Fifty Low Profile hats were donated to the Branson/Lakes Area Tourism Community Enhancement District (BLATCED) and the City of Branson by New Era Cap Company with the specific request that they go to the schools in the Branson/Lakes Area.

Big Changes for Legends in Concert

(BRANSON, MO – JAN. 16, 2024) LEGENDS IN CONCERT, BRANSON is extremely excited to announce what’s happening in 2024!

First on the list, many of you have noticed that we are getting new signage outside the building. The name of the theater will now be Pepsi Legends Theater. Both Legends in Concert® and SIX® will continue to perform year-round.

USACE waives day use fees at recreation areas in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that it will waive day use fees at its more than 2,850 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Jan. 15.

The waiver covers fees for boat launch ramps and swim beaches. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services or fees for specialized facilities and events. Other entities that manage recreation areas on USACE lands are encouraged, but not required, to offer the waiver in areas they manage.

One lane of Highway 165/265 cross Table Rock Dam to temporarily close

BRANSON, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be closing one lane of the Highway 165/265 bridge across Table Rock Dam and the Table Rock Auxiliary Spillway from Jan. 2 to Feb. 29 so work crews can conduct routine maintenance and repairs on both structures.

Traffic lights, signs and cones will be positioned at each end of the dam and spillway to direct traffic around the work zones.

If you are traveling in the area, please obey traffic signals and drive cautiously around equipment and work crews. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destinations.
