Halloween: Frightening Adventures and Fun Family Memories

Branson is full of many family-friendly fall and Halloween events and activities.

The changing colors found throughout the Ozark Mountains and the smell of all things fall makes Branson at Halloween one of the sweetest times of the year. Grab a pumpkin, a cup of warm apple cider and a trick-or-treat tote to get the most out of your family’s Branson Halloween vacation!

  • McKenna Family Farm - Located just minutes from Historic Downtown Branson, the McKenna Family Farm and Pumpkin Patch is a great way to celebrate the fall season with your family. The McKenna Family Farm has a two-acre corn maze, pumpkin bounce house, hayrides, baby farm animals, slides, and a huge bounce pillow. Bring your family out to the farm and enjoy the fall!
  • The Fall Roundup - Sycamore Creek Family Ranch is the place to be on Saturdays and Sundays this fall! Come celebrate nature and farm life with a fall-themed twist. Pick your own pumpkins in their pumpkin patch, enjoy a hay bale maze, a 4-acre corn maze, farm animals, yummy concessions and more!
  • Shepherd's Spooktacular and Haunted Hollow at Shepherd of the Hills -  For a whole new experience everyone in the family is sure to enjoy, check out Shepherd of the Hill's Spooktacular and Haunted Hollow happening every weekend during the month of October! Looking for a fun daytime location to take your kids this fall? Pick out pumpkins, build a scarecrow or a ride in a horse drawn wagon! For a scarier nighttime experience, visit at dark for a haunted hayride and zombie paintball. Shepherd’s Spooktacular and Haunted Hollow will have a little something for everyone.
  • Harvest Festival: Craft Days & Pumpkin Nights – Silver Dollar City is launching their newest festival: Craft Days & Pumpkin Nights this fall! During the day, experience many talented artisans demonstrate their craftsmanship. When the sun goes down, you will watch the park be transformed by thousands of glowing pumpkins and fall-themed activites and treats. This is the perfect family-friendly fall option.
  • Trick-or-Treat Tangerstyle - Calling all ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses – it's time to trick-or-treat through Branson’s Tanger Outlets! Participating stores will be marked with decals on their entrance doors and will be giving candy to kids in costume, as well as TangerStyle coupons for the parents. It’s a Spooktacular Halloween Celebration!
  • Branson Landing's Safe Street Trick-or-Treat - This will be the 13th Annual Safe Street Trick or Treat for Branson Landing and it’s taking place on Monday, October 31st! This safe Halloween alternative is exclusively for children dressed in costume. Be sure to visit the businesses with the Halloween pumpkin signs in their windows – as those signs will mark the participating “Trick or Treat” Branson Landing businesses. Orange pumpkin signs signal the business is offering normal Halloween candy, whereas teal pumpkin signs offer treats and toys for children with food allergies. Be sure to watch the Sonshine Dance Academy’s “Monster Mash Street Dance” beginning at 6:30 pm.
  • Halloween Boonanza - The Branson RecPlex will host their annual Halloween Boonanza on Saturday, October 26, from 5:00-8:00pm. The Boonanza features a trick-or-treat walking path, hayride, face painting, inflatables, and so much more. Bring the kids, bring the costumes, and come make fun family memories this October at the Halloween Boonanza!
  • Branson’s Haunted Screampark - Located in Branson West, Branson’s Haunted Screampark is four haunted attractions in one location. Open rain or shine, bring your friends and get ready for the fright of your life!

  • Branson Ghost and Paranormal Tour - Get your spook on as experience  Historic Downtown Branson like never before. On this exciting 90-minute tour prepare to hear about the ghost that haunts the Owens Theatre, the shootout at the Train Depot, and what started the great Branson Fire in the early 20th Century.
  • Castle of Chaos - Step into the Castle of Chaos - a 5-D attraction at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson. This haunted family attraction combines 3-D video, motion rides, and video into a single, scary, fun adventure.
